June 30th, 2010 -- Guildford, UK -- Norfolkline, part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and one of Europe’s leading door-to-door transportation service providers, has successfully gone live with Kewill Transport, the best of breed transport management system from Kewill (LSE:KWL), a leading provider of software solutions that simplify global trade and logistics.
The multimodal solution has gone live in the UK and Italy, integrating road, rail and ferry operations. Following the success of this first phase of the project the solution will be rolled out across more than 20 sites in 10 countries. The implementation of Kewill Transport provides Norfolkline with a future-proof transport platform providing increased flexibility and visibility across its logistics operations, which will enable the company to streamline the business and enhance its customer service.

The Kewill software will enable Norfolkline to support its comprehensive business processes, ranging from intermodal operations to non-asset-based third party logistics."
